The Story:
Stars and Stripes Healing was formed by Veterans who pursued a natural path to healing over the solutions currently offered by traditional medicine for ailments brought on by serving in uniform and everyday deterioration to our aging bodies.

The initial search was a solution for a TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury. This evolved into a healing journey that has become a passionate obsession to provide HEMP based healing solutions, that balance and maintain optimum performance for the mind and body.

We worked on ourselves and then started giving this to fellow Veterans who were hurting, and then they started giving it to their family and friends because of their results.

This isn't Marijuana it's HEMP:
Hard to believe the EVIL Cannabis plant can do anything good as projected by the mainstream media since the 50's, but it's true!

We're patients of our own medicine and strive for excellence in the quality, potency and creation of our HEMP based products that are grown, harvested, extracted, tested and formulated to create what the medical profession deems as "Homeostasis" in our bodies.

All of our HEMP based products are farmed and cultivated in Colorado using organic, natural ingredients.

Enter the Cannabis Plant:
As marijuana and hemp are both cannabis plants, the amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the primary factor that differentiates the two. Domestically grown CBD oil extracted from hemp was legalized by the federal government as part of the Industrial Hemp Farming Act, 2014. Properly imported CBD oil from hemp was confirmed as federally legal by the 9th circuit court in 2004. The only caveat in both of these is that the hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis.

Why this is important:
Cannabis medications work so efficiently because of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), present in all humans and many animals as well. This system consists of a series of receptors that are configured only to accept cannabinoids, especially tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

Cannabinoid compounds are essentially “short-order” neurotransmitters. They help to modulate complex actions within the immune and nervous systems, as well as serving as the Biochemical Bridge between mind and body.

Why is the Endocannabiniod System, or ECS so important?
The ECS promotes homeostasis, or dynamic biological balance, in every cell, tissue, and organ, including the brain. Our ECS is responsible for overall health and wellness when properly functioning. Specifically, both 2-AG and CBD are involved in the regulation of immune system functions, inflammation, sleep, stress response, appetite, mood, memory and pain management.

Homeostasis is the end goal:
Homeostasis, or dynamic balance, is the concept that most biological systems are actively regulated to maintain conditions within a narrow range. Conditions need to be just right for our cells to maintain optimum performance, and mechanisms have evolved to draw them back to the “Goldilocks zone” if they move out. ECS is a vital molecular system for helping maintain homeostasis—it helps cells stay in their Goldilocks zone. The stronger our physiological ability to stay in homeostasis is, the more robust our capacity to be in homeostasis, the healthier we are.
